I’ve learned over the years that people are human and have mood swings, regardless of how talented they are. Today, I’m looking at life from a realistic point of view instead of the way I would want things to be.

I'm not impressed with the state of music and the lyrics, guys on stage grabbing their Johnson. That's why people still cling to (old) Motown. It's music they can listen to with their kids.

That's one of the things the Tempts have always been, experimental. We decided ... to sit down and come up with using some great songs from the famous Motown catalog and put our spin on some iconic kind of songs that have turned out to be such monster standards in their own right.
